"EXPERIENCE IN PRIDE...JOURNEY THROUGH (c)
                     AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY"

Through drama share the experience of Black men and women who made significant contributions to American history. See Harriet Tubman as she leads slaves to freedom, hear the moving and inspiring speeches of W E B Dubois and Frederick Douglass, travel with Mary McLeod Bethune to the Deep South and hear of how she started Bethune-Cookman College.

Charitable giving is an important part of our Christian faith and should be recognized and encouraged. Teaching children the strong heritage of giving that exists within African American culture is vitally important to their perception of themselves and their forefathers. A key part of this learning process is to connect historically the giving behavior and sense of community demonstrated by African Americans in this country with the giving traditions of African Americans today. This five-week lesson module is designed to do just that. Learning module for use with students in K-2 Grades and 3-5 Grades are currently available. Available soon will be the completed modules for 6-8 Grades and 9-12 Grades.
