Because He Cares Updates:   THE LIVING LEGACY PROJECT   The Living Legacy Project is sponsored by Because He Cares has been funded by local foundations.  The Vernon Odom Fund of the Akron Community Foundation is the lead supporter of this project which works with high school and college students to visually record the lives of African Americans who have made significant contributes to the Akron/Summit County community.    Their stories told in their own words is being recorded digitally and will be housed at the Summit County Library.
